Good Clue

You know it's time to shave your legs when you start having nightmares about accidentally wearing a skirt in public without tights on.

Just thought I'd share this special moment with you all.

Bummer

The more I read about VidAngel, the more that I'm pretty sure what they're doing is illegal.

Which is a bummer because, even #savefiltering aside, $1 to stream a movie without ever having to leave my couch was pretty awesome.

I really really hope they win, just because I want that convenience back. #blessed

I don't agree with the law pertaining to why they're being sued, but it is there. It would be wonderful if the courts can see how many people agree with the ability to have a service like this and a compromise can be made.

A Christmas Tragedy

I must stop eating ice cream.

It makes me sick.

Every time I eat it, lately.

I had my last bowl 3 days ago.

Sob.

Announcements

1:  Caleb's nail from his big toe is finally falling off.......
.....from the illness of hand foot and mouth that he had in JULY PEOPLE! This is the worst thing I've ever seen in my life and I am terrified to ever get it.

2:  The Claire-meister is potty trained!
She accepted my bribe of a huge day out after I felt she was significantly trained enough: we went to lunch at Chik-fil-a, then went to see Moana, and then went to pick out a princess toy (she chose a Princess Sofia doll).
I should note that we are a little obsessed with princesses at our house. I have no idea why; it's not like I took her to Disney World twice this year and trained her on all the names and faces so she would be excited to meet characters or anything.

3:  The movie theater here has 2 whole theaters that have rows upon rows of leather recliners. I. Kid. You. Not. What I also don't kid you about is that fact that on $5 Tuesday, you can also watch a movie in these theaters for $5, and they don't charge me for Claire yet. Oh, and re-fillable popcorn only costs $1. I will be back, and it will be hard to not go every.single.tuesday, especially once Caleb is done with school mid-February.

4:  I will be in Utah from January 16-February 4 for a small gathering my sisters are hosting. I guess they are thinking about going on a trip for a while. Anyway, if you want to see my lovely face, you can find me in Utah then. ;)

ISO FH Suggestions

I'm doing an activity for my young women at the end of the month on family history. Apparently my love of it has people thinking I'm an expert.

These YW are your "typical" (if there's ever really such a thing) Mormon youth. They know the gospel principles, attend regularly, and most have been raised in the faith.

The thing I find interesting is that even though it's such a huge part of our religion, and a huge purpose of it is for temple work, a lot of people don't do or are unfamiliar with how to do family history work.

So.

I have some ideas, but am wondering what you guys might be able to think up for a fun and informative activity for 5-10 youth (2 days after Christmas, so attendance might be scarce).

Ideas?
