What Up With That

Ick!

I usually purchase greek yogurt from Costco, but the last few weeks have just been buying the regular Yoplait light yogurts at Walmart.

Their label now reads "Now with no aspartame!"

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for changing things up and making them healthier wherever possible, but -

THESE YOGURTS ARE FREAKING NASTY NOW.

Anybody have this same experience?

A Better Understanding

Things happen to your body when pregnant.  It's no surprise to anyone.

I have always heard stories of women whose feet have grown multiple sizes while pregnant.  I've dreaded the idea and possibility that my own already larger than average feet might extend to even greater lengths.

But guess what?

Well, they did grow a little (and yes this is only the first pregnancy).

BUT -

I've had size 10.5 feet for quite some time now.  All my shoes are either too tight or sliding off my feet, because - guess what - size 10.5 is somewhat hard to come by, and I lack the patient or the know-how to shop appropriately for shoes.

SO -

Many of my shoes no longer fit.

AND -

The ones that were too big fit much better now.

THIS MEANS

I can wear size 11 comfortably!

AND

I have to go buy new shoes.

Last Week

Here are a few of my favorites from the last seven days:

I usually get the grumpy faces and the screams, while Caleb gets the smiles and the coos.  Es la vida...

She's started laughing and giggling in her sleep sometimes.  She usually wakes up 1, sometimes 2 times a night.  Last night she slept for 5 straight hours! Woohoo!  So far, she's still got some dark blue eyes, and her hair definitely looks red in certain lights.  My friend insists she did not alter her hair color to look so red in the newborn pictures she took!

She'll be 1 month old already on Saturday.  I know everyone says it, but I really can't believe how fast time is flying (and these are only her first four weeks...).
